In this 34 minute video Raimo van der Klein discusses various topics related to the role of mobile in bringing news with Roeland Stekelenburg (NOS), Patrick Loppé (Telegraaf), and Erik Rovers (NU.nl/Ilse Media).

The panel starts with what they learned from the earlier presentations. The audience has some interesting questions for the panel concerning advertising models, user generated content, and where they get their inspiration for innovations.

  • Roeland Stekelenburg, head of the New Media department at NOS, kicked off the MoMo Special with new stats and backgrounds on the NOS mobile application. See his presentation here.
  • Patrick Loppé, Channel Manager DFT.nl & Mobile at De Telegraaf Media, gave insight in the mobile strategy of de Telegraaf. See his presentation here.
  • Erik Rovers, responsible for Business Development Mobile at Ilse Media, earlier presented the ideas behind the mobile version of NU.nl. In his presentation during this MoMo Special he gave a sneak preview of the NU.nl mobile application (currently in development) and he pre-launched the NU.nl quick launch button.
